Whether it's via Zoom or in a live setting, effective speaking and presenting can be pivotal. This interactive demo focuses on enhancing speaking skills, offering practical tips on managing audience expectations, eye contact, and voice control. It covers both non-verbal and verbal communication skills, including mastering Q&A sessions post-presentation. Participants will either receive topics ahead of time for preparation or may give extemporaneous speeches. This session is designed to boost both the skills and confidence needed for impactful presentations in any professional or daily situation. パブリックスピーキングとは、オーディエンスに対して情報を効果的に伝えるスキルです。オンラインでも対面の状況でも、聞き手の共感を得られるパブリックスピーキングがスピーチやプレゼンの成功を左右します。次学期（秋学期）に開講を予定している「ワーキングプロフェッショナルのためのパブリックスピーキング（PSP101）https://cont-edjp.tuj.ac.jp/PSP101」コースでは、日本外国特派員協会の役員を務め、経験豊富なジャーナリストとして活躍するDan Sloan氏を迎えて、人の心を掴み共感を得る話力や質問力、ロジカルな思考力を身につけることができます。どのようにプレゼンやスピーチをすればよいのかわからない方から、世界屈指のプレゼンターのように説得力あるプレゼンを目指すリーダーまで、自信を持って人前で話せるようになりたいと考えるすべての方へお勧めするコースです。

【講師紹介】
Dan Sloan is a veteran multimedia journalist, who writes for Eurobiz Japan and other media after working at Reuters for 17 years. He is a frequent public speaker and commentator on current events, corporate communications and Japan for professional organizations and academic groups, a university instructor, and author of "Playing to Wiin: Nintendo and the Video Game Industry's Greatest Comeback." He is a former president of the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan and a current Board Member.
