テーマ：「グローバル人材を育てるICUにおける英語教育
―リーディングカリキュラムと教材―」

発表内容　
The rapid accessibility of technology provides incredible opportunities for la nguage leaning students who can take advantage of a range of features on mobil e devices to engage in authentic and creative ways of communication. The adopt ion and use of technology in the classroom is far from straightforward however , and certain conditions should be in place before eploying mobile devices to students.　This presentation lays a basic foundation of how to incorporate CLIL with technology and gives a case study with the subject of music. It will explore how mobile apps have been used for creating presentations, dialogues, performances and compositions; and then reflect on how these practical skills could help students in the future.

Cooperation, Technology and Integrated Learning in the Modern ELT Classroom

山本恭子
兵庫県神戸市出身。兵庫教育大学大学院修士課程修了。英語教育学修士取得。幼少時にアジア諸国での滞在体験を持つ。アメリカ、イギリス留学を経て、秀明学園で系列校3校の英語科主任として勤務。研究内容は、第２言語習得、ライティングにおけるピアフィードバックの与える影響、CLIL学習による英語力向上がある。

Jason Demsteaderis from England and has taught English for 24 years in Argentina, Spain and Japan. He has experienced a wide range of teaching contexts from very young learners to multi-national corporate clients but sees a lot of potential at secondary school level and is seeing the benefits of technology based CLIL lessons where he works as Course Director at Shumei Kawagoe Junior and Senior High School. He is interested in promoting student centered digital content to facilitatee English language learning and communication.

Kayvon Havaei-Aharyomes from England. He‘s been teaching English in Japan for 7 years. He is currently teaching English and music with iPads at Shumei junior and senior highschool in Kawagoe, Saitama. He is particularly interested in Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and developing creative ways in which language can be taught with iPads.
